Connections

I would be delighted to add your events to the Northwest Regional Resources page. Please drop me a line at ahowell@edinboro.edu to let me know what you are planning. Also, please send me the names of colleagues who would benefit from this organization.

I conduct the women’s and men’s choruses at Edinboro University of Pennsylvania and benefit from all the great resources now available to locate new music but would also appreciate knowing your favorite pieces for these types of ensembles. I imagine that sharing pieces would connect us in many of the same ways as would sharing recipes. My belief is that life, including the choral aspect, is primarily about connecting. The various life events eventually fade from memory but the personal connections remain. Many of the music teachers that graduate from Edinboro have come from your choirs and I would like to know more about the people who have shaped them. My hope is that all of us in this region will figure out how to develop more and more ways to connect to each other.
