Photo Gallery: Photo Submission Guidelines

We would love to have you submit photos of ACDA-related events! Photos give documentary evidence that we are active, that our events are worth attending, and that ACDA is worth joining. When submitting photos, please follow these guidelines:

1. Please have only one person affiliated with the event submit photos to the web manager. How you arrange getting the photos is up to you (have parents/students send their best shots to you, have a designated photographer, etc.)
2. Pick three or four photos, no more. If the event is a performance, these should probably include:
   • the assembled performing forces in the performance venue
   • guest director (working with singers, or informal)
   • a candid shot showing teachers and/or students happy to be at the event
   • your choice (group shot of teachers, another candid, etc.)
3. Resolution of photos should be at least 72 pixels/inch. Please do not resize photos. Send original sizes. We will resize them to the proper final size.
4. Please only submit shots that aren't blurry, are reasonably well-exposed, have limited red-eye, etc. You don't need to hire Ansel Adams (or anyone, for that matter), but remember that we only look good if we have good quality photos. Please do not correct the photos. If you feel there is something that needs to be fixed, let us know and we will adjust the photo.
5. Please send the photos to the web manager at steven.thomas@wilkes.edu. Please remember to indicate which event the photos are from, and include a caption for each photo if you would like.
