Repertoire & Standards - Vocal Jazz

Welcome to the Vocal Jazz Repertoire and Standards page for ACDA-PA.  My name is Justin Binek, and I am the Head of Vocal Jazz Studies at The University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA.  It is my goal to assist directors of vocal jazz, pop a cappella, and other contemporary choral forms in any way that I can, so please feel free to contact me at jbinek@uarts.edu or through the additional links at the bottom of this page.

In the coming weeks and months, I will be adding downloadable handouts and vocal jazz solo transcriptions that will hopefully serve as resources to assist your vocal jazz program, regardless of level and experience.  I hope to shine a spotlight on some of the brilliant vocal jazz arranging being done by talented young writers and arrangers.  Finally, I intend to create a R&S list for Pop A Cappella choirs, whether SSAA, SATB, or TTBB and to provide a forum for discussion on this idiom.
