ACDA-PA Announces the 2023 "Choir For All" Summer Honor Choir
ACDA-PA members are encouraged to invite their high school, college, church, and community singers to join in song this summer at the Summer Conference! Guest conductor-composer Dr. Andrea Ramsey will lead the “Choir for All,” an honor choir associated with the ACDA-PA summer conference.
The rehearsals and performance will take place at Messiah University on Sunday-Monday, July 30-31, 2023 which will culminate in an informal performance at the conference. This is an opportunity to learn music an amazing conductor-composer as well as sing with a wide variety of people. ACDA members should assemble a quartet of singers (SATB or multiple quartets of singers) from their high school, college, church, or community choir to participate.

Costs:
Registration price is $125 per singer/director. Cost includes Sunday/Monday meals, music, two days of rehearsals with Andrea, and ticket to the opening concert featuring Parkside Harmony. Directors who attend the summer conference after the Honor Choir will receive a discounted conference registration rate.

Messiah University has graciously offered discounted on campus housing options for Honor Choir participants. ACDA-PA will provide college students to serve as dorm counselors for high school singers.

Each participating director should submit a registration for themselves and the singers in their ensemble including the address where music packets should be shipped to by J.W. Pepper. At the end of the form, the director may choose to:

- “In completing this registration form on behalf of my singers, I agree that we will abide by all rules and policies prescribed by the festival site. CDC & ACDA guidance related to COVID-19 will be followed as necessary at the time of the event. For high school singers, all associated parents/guardians grant permission for their child(ren) to participate in this ACDA-PA sponsored festival and will not hold ACDA-PA or its members responsible for any unforeseen accident, illness, or loss of property during or in transit to/from the above festival.”
- "By accepting ACDA-PA's invitation to perform at our State Conference in July 2023, you understand and give permission to ACDA, and to whomever it sends releases, to use the photographic likeness of all performers in all forms and media (video and audio) for news releases and articles, website depictions, digital live-streaming or archival format, promotional materials, advertising, future educational material, and any other lawful purposes."
