Check your e-mail for log-in information and a link to the ballot for our special election to fill the vacancy on the board due to Joy Hirokawa's appointment to the ACDA board as national R&R chair for Children and Community Youth Choirs. The election is run through ElectionRunner, and a separate e-mail with log-in and candidate bio information should have gone out to our active membership. Some e-mail filters may catch it, so check your spam. The voting window closes August 2, 2019.
 Dear ACDA-PA members,
Happy July to you! I hope you are finding some rest and respite from your choral year as we reach mid-summer. Before we know it, the choral year will begin again! As I begin my term as President, I want to extend a hearty “thank-you” to the 2017-19 board members, and especially to Susan Medley, for capably steering our state chapter. Starting July 1st, the 2019-2021 term began! We welcome five new board members and R&R Chairs to the state, including Shawn Funk (Youth R&R Coordinator), Maggie Sisson (Women’s Choirs R&R Chair), Ryan Perotte (Vocal Jazz and Contemporary Commercial R&R Chair), Matt Klenk (High School R&R Chair), and Jordan Shomper (Junior High R&R Chair). Welcome! As ACDA-PA continues to evolve, I have asked our board members to take a thoughtful look at our current programs and services. We serve a dynamic membership (You!), and we are eager to grow and sustain important resources for the state.
